Man Shot In Knee At Labor Day Gathering
Shooting Reported At Mountain View Park

SAN DIEGO -- A large Labor Day gathering at Mountain View Park turned sour when gunfire was heard and a 20-year-old man was found nearby with a gunshot to one of his knees, police said Tuesday.The shooting in the 600 block of Boundary Street was reported at 7:30 p.m. Monday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.The victim was found behind the park's recreation center, Delimitros said, adding that he was likely to survive.There was no shooter information, according to Delimitros.Gang detectives are handling the investigation.
