Brush Fire Breaks Out In Carlsbad Area

CARLSBAD, Calif. -- A brush fire burned three acres in Carlsbad Wednesday but did not threaten structures or close roads.The blaze was reported just after 4:20 p.m. south of the intersection of Cannon Road and College Boulevard, said Nick Schuler of Cal Fire.The fire was still burning as of 6 p.m., but its spread had been stopped, Schuler said.The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
