Undercover Police Posed as “Johns”

ESCONDIDO, Calif. -- Four women and a man were in custody today in connection with an undercover police sting targeting prostitutes in Escondido.Each of the four women, ranging in age from 20 to 42, were arrested Thursday on suspicion of solicitation with intent to commit prostitution after they approached undercover police officers posing as "Johns," said Escondido police Lt. Chris Wynn.The man, 19-year-old Douglas Bush of Escondido, was arrested on suspicion of carrying an illegal weapon and criminal threats, Wynn said.The women were identified as 39-year-old Rachelle Renee Stipp of Escondido, 20-year-old Montanique Latoya Jennings, 30-year-old Naomi Jade Rodriguez of San Marcos and 42-year-old Yvette Viola Hayes of Escondido.
