The switch comes in the wake of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's proposed 2010-11 state budget that calls to restore $305 million in funding to the California State University systems, which governs SDSU and Cal State San Marcos. The number of applicants for spring 2011 admission will be accepted will depend on what happens with the state budget in Sacramento.Enrollment at SDSU has been reduced by 10.8 percent over the past two years because of reduced state funding, according to published reports.
