530 SDG&E Customers Without Power In Escondido
Problem With Overhead Lines To Blame

ESCONDIDO, Calif. -- About 530 San Diego Gas & Electric customers lost power Friday morning in eastern Escondido due to a problem with overhead transmission lines, according to the utility.The blackout began shortly before 5 a.m. was expected to last until about 1 p.m., the utility reported.
