2 Thrown From Motorcycle, 1 Killed By Passing Car
David Jensen, 49, Died At Scene

ESCONDIDO, Calif. -- A husband and wife came off a motorcycle that struck debris on southbound Interstate 15 Tuesday, and a car fatally struck the man, authorities said.Forty-nine-year-old David Roland Jensen of Lakeside died between Felicita Road and Via Rancho Parkway in the accident reported about 12:35 a.m., according to the county coroner's office.Some debris, including a barbecue grill and what appeared to be a piece of wooden furniture, fell off a vehicle, and the motorcycle struck it, the California Highway Patrol reported.Jensen was driving the motorcycle, and his wife was riding on the back, according to the coroner's office. Both survived the spill but when they stood up in the road, a Toyota Prius fatally struck Jensen moments later.Jensen's wife was taken to Palomar Medical Center with injuries said to be non-life-threatening. A coroner's spokesman said the couple have a daughter.
