Fatal Crash Closes Otay Lakes Road

SAN DIEGO -- A woman was killed when her car collided with a vehicle driven by a Border Patrol agent near Otay Lakes Wednesday, and the agent was injured, authorities said.The two-vehicle crash on Otay Lakes Road, near Wueste Road, was reported at 8:23 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol's Web site.The woman died at the scene and another person was taken to a hospital, said Nick Schuler of Cal Fire. The CHP identified the injured person as a Border Patrol agent.Medical investigators were dispatched to pick up the woman's body, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
