3 Men Rob East County-Area Bank

SAN DIEGO -- Three thieves, one armed with a pistol, ordered workers and patrons to lie on the floor Monday while the trio robbed an East County bank, authorities reported.The bandits entered the Citibank branch office in the 3700 block of Avocado Boulevard in Casa de Oro about 11 a.m., and one of them immediately pulled the gun and ordered everyone inside to get down on the floor, according to the FBI. His two accomplices then climbed over teller counters and grabbed cash, stepping on or kicking several of the victims in the process.The robbers fled with an undisclosed amount of money in a white four-door sedan. Surveillance cameras captured images of them during the heist.No serious injuries were reported.
