Vehicle Strikes Woman, Child In Rancho San Diego

RANCHO SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- A woman and a child were injured Wednesday evening when a vehicle struck them at an East County intersection, a sheriff's official reported.The crash at Fury Lane and Via Rancho San Diego was reported shortly after 6 p.m., Lt. Sylvester Washington said.The victims were airlifted to Mercy Hospital with major injuries, 10News said.The involved motorist said the sun was in their eyes when the accident occured.
