SAN DIEGO -- A man accused of stabbing another man to death as they argued over a taxi cab in Rolando will be in court for a preliminary hearing April 14, a judge ruled Tuesday.Torrance Orlando Jones, 33, allegedly stabbed LaDonte Collins, 22, of San Diego, on Feb. 2 during a fight over which of them should use a taxi that arrived at the Ace Budget Motel, 7058 El Cajon Blvd., according to San Diego police. Collins died about an hour later in a hospital.Jones was arrested on suspicion of murder three days later in a downtown apartment.
