Robber Steals Drugs From Mira Mesa Walgreens

SAN DIEGO -- A man in his 20s forced his way into the pharmacy area of a Walgreens drug store in Mira Mesa and stole prescription drugs, but no one was hurt, police said.The robbery at 10787 Camino Ruiz was reported at 10:48 p.m. Thursday, said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.Police described the thief as white or Hispanic and around 5 feet 8, with a medium to stocky build. He was wearing black pants and a gray hooded sweatshirt with black stripes, Stafford said.The officer declined to say what kind of prescription drugs were taken.
