CHULA VISTA, Calif. -- Firefighters Friday battled a house fire that sent one person to the hospital.

The fire at 3185 Lynndale Place was reported at 3:31 a.m., said a San Diego fire-rescue dispatcher. Crews were still battling the blaze more than 90 minutes later, she said.

Five people were displaced, including one who paramedics took to UCSD Medical Center, according to the dispatcher.

The cause of the fire was not immediately determined.
