Toddler Accidentally Run Over By Grandfather

SAN DIEGO -- An 18-month-old boy suffered facial injuries and broken bones Wednesday when he was run over by a car driven by his grandfather outside a Southcrest-area home.The accident in the 3600 block of Beta Street was reported about 2:15 p.m., according to San Diego police.
Medics took the toddler to Children's Hospital in Linda Vista, SDPD Detective Gary Hassen said. The boy's condition was not released.
