Police Say Woman May Have Overdosed On Prescription Drugs

SAN DIEGO -- Police investigators said they believe a woman found unconscious inside a senior citizen apartment complex Wednesday morning may have overdosed on prescription medications.The 61-year-old woman was found bloody and unresponsive by residents inside the apartment complex in Normal Heights.San Diego police first thought the woman had been attacked, but foul play was later ruled out.
The woman is expected to survive, authorities told 10News.Resident Theresia Hunter told 10News she heard crashing noises coming from the woman's apartment late Tuesday evening.
