2 Border Agents Injured After Being Hit By Car
Other Driver Left Scene; Had License Less Than 30 Days

SAN DIEGO -- Two U.S. Border Patrol agents suffered minor injuries when they were sideswiped by a car on state Route 94, it was reported Monday.The driver in the case took off but was quickly tracked down at her home after the accident happened on eastbound state Route 94, near Harris Ranch Road, around 7:20 p.m. Sunday, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported.The driver told her father she did not realize she had hit anyone until investigators contacted her and told her, according to the newspaper. She also said she heard what sounded like a gunshot when she struck the deputies, the Union-Tribune reported.The driver has had her license for less than 30 days, according to the Union-Tribune.A CHP investigation was under way.
