Robert Paul Agnew Shot His Boyfriend, Eric Schulthise, Multiple Times Before Turning The Gun On Himself

SAN DIEGO -- Authorities released the name of a man who gunned down his former boyfriend in the victim's City Heights condominium before turning the gun on himself Monday.Robert Paul Agnew, 41, shot 40-year-old Eric Schulthise multiple times before shooting himself in the head, according to police and the county Medical Examiner's Office.Officers checking on the welfare of Schulthise at the request of a concerned co-worker found the men's bodies in the victim's residence in the 3700 block of Wilson Avenue shortly before 4 p.m. Friday.Schulthise hadn't shown up for work for several days, SDPD homicide Lt. Ernie Herbert told reporters.Agnew and Schulthise had dated for a time before one of them called off the relationship. Schulthise reportedly told a neighbor recently that he was being stalked by someone he had been seeing.
