Police Call City Heights Apartment Deaths Murder-Suicide

SAN DIEGO -- Two men were found dead in a City Heights apartment in what San Diego police Saturday are calling an apparent murder-suicide.The names of the men and the cause of their deaths were not released.A co-worker of one of the men called police about 3:40 p.m. Friday and asked them to check the apartment in the 3600 block of Wilson Avenue, saying his colleague hadn't shown up for work for two days, SDPD homicide Lt. Ernie Herbert said.Officers looked in a window and saw two men lying on the living room floor, Herbert said. He said the officers forced entry and determined both men, whose bodies showed some kind of injuries, were dead.Herbert said both men have been tentatively identified, but their families had not yet been notified.
