SAN DIEGO -- A small group of fans protested outside the Clear Channel studios in Murphy Canyon Wednesday morning in support of the "Dave, Shelly and Chainsaw" radio show, 10News reported.Fans of the show said they are upset because the radio team was dropped from KGB-FM airwaves over a contract dispute.Clear Channel spent six weeks negotiating what the station manager called a "lucrative, multi-year contract," but the deadline passed without a new contract."We need more laughter … they've taken away all for our fun," said show fan Sharmie Tresdale. Some of the fans told 10News they hope the "Dave, Shelly and Chainsaw" show turns up on satellite radio.
