The group provided maintenance and engineering services for Marines in the field during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Fifty Marines from Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352 -- nicknamed "The Raiders" -- returned home to Miramar Sunday.

Marine wife Cynthia Miller said she is overwhelmed with relief that her husband is home safe.

"He said it's much different when they're shooting at you, so today felt like Christmas morning," Miller said.

"The Raiders" played a key role in Iraq, delivering troops and cargo to the battle zone. They also performed in-flight refueling, 10News reported.
