Police Searching For Chula Vista Bank Robber

CHULA VISTA, Calif. -- Authorities Tuesday are searching for a man who robbed a Chula Vista bank.The man robbed the San Diego National Bank branch at 398 H St. around 4 p.m. Monday, said FBI Special Agent Darrell Foxworth.He leaned over a counter and told a teller, "this is a robbery," then took money and walked out of the bank through its northwest door, Foxworth said. There were no injuries.The robber, last seen walking southbound on Fourth Street, was black, 30- 40 years old, about 6 feet and 220 pounds, with a husky build and dark spots on his lower right cheek, authorities said. He wore a black head wrap, dark jacket and dark jeans.
