UPDATED: 11:32 am PST December 29, 2009

Authorities Tuesday are searching for a man who robbed a Chula Vista bank.

The man robbed the San Diego National Bank branch at 398 H St. around 4 p.m. Monday, said FBI Special Agent Darrell Foxworth.

He leaned over a counter and told a teller, "this is a robbery," then took money and walked out of the bank through its northwest door, Foxworth said. There were no injuries.

The robber, last seen walking southbound on Fourth Street, was black, 30- 40 years old, about 6 feet and 220 pounds, with a husky build and dark spots on his lower right cheek, authorities said. He wore a black head wrap, dark jacket and dark jeans.
