WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama's dog is apparently a bit shy of the man in the big red suit.

Bo stole the show Tuesday during a visit by the first family to the Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., barking at Santa Claus when Kris Kringle made an appearance.

After Bo settled down, Michelle Obama read "'Twas The Night Before Christmas" to the crowd, and talked about the first family's holiday plans.
