Fire Damages Perry's Cafe

SAN DIEGO -- A fire damaged Perry's Cafe on Pacific Highway, it was reported Saturday.The fire at the popular breakfast spot near Taylor Street started in or on the roof shortly after 10 p.m. Friday, firefighters told The San Diego Union-Tribune.The fire was contained in about 20 minutes. Damage was estimated at $300,000 a fire dispatcher said.
