SAN DIEGO -- While the bulk of the weekend storm has passed, there might be some sprinkles here and there around San Diego County Sunday, a National Weather Service Meteorologist said.
5.42 inches at Palomar Mountain, 2.83 inches at Lake Cuyamaca, 1.38 inches in Rancho Bernardo, 1.16 inches at Montgomery Field in Kearny Mesa, 1 inch in Carlsbad, .96 inch at Santee Lakes, and .71 inch at Fashion Valley. The storm system will be replaced by high pressure that will push bad weather into Central and Northern California, and keep it out of San Diego, throughout the work week, Isla said. Most streets in the city of San Diego closed during the storm were re- opened except for the back entrance to the Fashion Valley Mall -- and even that should be opened later Sunday, said Officer Jane Jacobsen of the San Diego Police Department.
