Hammer Used In North Park Carjacking

SAN DIEGO -- Two men carjacked a third man Friday in North Park using a hammer to threatened the victim, police said.The owner of a pickup truck agreed to give the suspects a ride and drove them about a mile before the carjacking occurred at Arizona Street and Meade Avenue around 2:10 a.m., said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.One of the suspects took out a hammer and threatened the victim while ordering him to get out of the truck, Stafford said.
The victim complied and the suspects took off in the vehicle, according to Stafford. The victim was not hurt.
