POSTED: 10:53 am PST November 26, 2009
UPDATED: 11:34 pm PST November 28, 2009

An autopsy was pending Friday for a 32-year-old man who was found submerged in the pool of his apartment complex Thanksgiving morning.

The man, a Chinese National, had gone for a jog in the early morning hours and returned to the Rancho Villas apartment complex and jumped in the pool.

The man was found floating facedown and was unresponsive, 10News said.

The property manager pulled the man from the pool and attempted CPR but it had appeared the man had already died, 10News reported.

The Medical Examiner's office identifed the man as Gang Wu. Wu had been living in the county for only a month and was working for a local biotech company, 10News said.
