Police Seek Woman Who Punched Another At Target

LA MESA, Calif. -- La Mesa police Thursday asked for the public's help in finding a woman who punched another woman in a Target parking lot.The victim told officers she was outside the Grossmont Center store around 6 p.m. Tuesday when she stopped to watch another woman screaming at a young child, according to the La Mesa Police Department.The victim was about to walk away when the other woman attacked her, police said. The woman was punched in the eye.The assailant was described as black and in her mid-20s with curly hair. The child with her appeared to be about 4, police said.Police asked anyone with information to call (619) 667-1400 or San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
