Gabino Aguilar-Hernandez, 35, Is Believed To Have Been Killed Fleeing A Hit-And-Run

OCEANSIDE, Calif. -- Authorities Tuesday released the name of a suspected hit-and-run driver who died after apparently losing control of his pickup truck while speeding away from the site of a weekend collision in Oceanside.Gabino Aguilar-Hernandez's white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck collided with another pickup on Rancho Del Oro Drive around 11:15 p.m. Saturday, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.As Aguilar-Hernandez, 35, sped away southbound in northbound traffic lanes, he lost control of his truck in the 400 block of Rancho Del Oro Drive and veered off the roadway, the Medical Examiner's Office reported.
The Tacoma apparently mounted a curb and possibly rolled over before striking a large building at El Camino High School.Aguilar-Hernandez, who lived in Vista, died at the scene, according to the Medical Examiner's Office.
