SAN DIEGO -- Some dog lovers at Dog Beach in Ocean Beach demonstrated Sunday against Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, who served time for organizing dog fights. Some of the protesters created "pee poles" with Vick's name attached that could be driven into the sand and allow dogs to pay their respects.
Before signing with the Eagles, Vick pleaded guilty to dog-fighting conspiracy and served time in federal prison. Vick played sparingly in the Eagles loss.
