What's Open, Closed On Veterans Day?

SAN DIEGO -- Courts and most San Diego city, county and state offices will be closed Wednesday in observance of Veterans Day.Libraries, recreation centers and pools in San Diego will be closed, but skate parks will be open. The Torrey Pines, Balboa Park and Mission Bay golf courses will also be open, but holiday rates will apply.San Diego County's libraries will also be closed.Balboa Park will be open, but public buildings will be closed. Museums that operate on Wednesdays will be open.There will be no mail delivery.Garbage pickups in the city of San Diego will be delayed one day throughout the remainder of the week. Garbage and recycling collection will return to the normal schedule on Monday.
