Gunman Robs Otay Mesa Gas Station

OTAY MESA, Calif. -- A gunman robbed a gas station in western Otay Mesa but did not hurt anyone, police said.A young masked man reportedly in his late teens or early 20s took cash at gunpoint from the Shell Gas Station at 2485 Coronado Ave. shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.
A clerk described him as Hispanic and around 5 feet 6 inches, with a thin build. He wore a black hooded jacket, black mask and blue jeans, Delimitros said.
