Man Hospitalized After Large Fight In Lake Murray

SAN DIEGO -- A 30-year-old man was hospitalized early Saturday with head trauma after being knocked down an embankment in San Carlos during a big fight, police said.About 20-30 men were fighting outside a party in the 7300 block of Barker Way about 1:30 a.m., said San Diego police Officer David Stafford. Some of the men had crashed the party in the residential neighborhood, prompting the fight, Stafford said.The victim, whose name was withheld, struck his head on the concrete embankment, which may have been a driveway, and was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital, the officer said.
No suspect description was immediately available.
