Man Robs Allied Gardens 7-Eleven With Knife

SAN DIEGO -- A man in his 20s is in custody Tuesday, accused of using a switchblade to rob an Allied Gardens convenience store of cash and cigarettes, police said.The robbery at the 7-Eleven at 7427 Mission Gorge Road was reported at 9:45 p.m. Monday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.Officers arrested the alleged robber a couple of blocks away a short time later. His name was not immediately released.
No one was injured in the robbery, Delimitros said.
