Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash Identified

SAN DIEGO -- Authorities released the name Tuesday of a 70-year-old man killed when his motorcycle crashed into the back of a sport utility vehicle on a North County freeway.Gustavo Torres Vazquez of El Cajon was unable to brake in time to avoid a collision when he found slow-moving traffic ahead of him on southbound Interstate 15 in Escondido about 8:30 a.m. Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol and county Medical Examiner's Office.
Vasquez died at the scene of the accident near Via Rancho Parkway.
