Gunman Robs Tierrasanta Ice Cream Shop

SAN DIEGO -- A thief threatened employees with a gun while robbing an ice-cream shop in Tierrasanta Tuesday, authorities reported.The holdup at the Baskin Robbins store in the 10600 block of Tierrasanta Boulevard was reported shortly before 2 p.m., according to San Diego police.The bandit, described as a roughly 5-foot-7-inch man in his early to mid- 30s, fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, possibly in a bluish-gray Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with a camper shell, SDPD Detective Gary Hassen said.
