UPDATED: 5:12 p.m. PDT April 8, 2003

Investigators in Tijuana, Mexico, are looking into whether a fire that killed eight people was deliberately set, 10News reported.

The fire broke out early Monday morning in a tumble-down home that three families shared in one of Tijuana's poorest neighborhoods, according to 10News.

Five adults, a 4-year-old boy, a teenage mother and her infant son all died.

Two adults survived. However, one was burned over most of his body, 10News reported.

Neighbors said that they heard yelling from the home just before the fire started.

No one has been arrested.
