Doorman Stabs Patron At Midway Club

SAN DIEGO -- A doorman at a Midway music club got into a fight Sunday with a patron and stabbed him twice in the stomach, police said.The fight broke out about 1:30 a.m. at the Rhythm Lounge at 3048 Midway Drive, southeast of the San Diego Sports Arena, said San Diego police Officer David Stafford.
The victim was taken to UC-San Diego Medical Center and is expected to survive. The doorman, whose name was not released, was arrested.
