The I-Team asked Padre Dam Municipal Water District for its records of expenses, salaries and consultant fees from 2006 through 2009.

In addition to the items mentioned in the story, we also found that consultant fees have grown over the past three years. Padre Dam’s general manager said that the consulting budget has gone up as a direct relation to the increase in the district’s capital expansion program.
