IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. -- Authorities Friday released the name of a 24-year-old man who was killed when his Toyota pickup truck struck several parked cars, lost a tire and overturned in Imperial Beach.John Kirk Colgan Jr. wasn't wearing a seat belt when he was ejected in the crash, which occurred in the 1200 block of 11th Street around 10 p.m. Thursday, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.The cause of the crash was under investigation.
Bystanders performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on Colgan, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, the Medical Examiner's Office reported.Colgan lived in Imperial Beach and is survived by his wife and son.
