Confrontations Have Taken Place On La Jolla, San Pasqual and Pechanga Reservations

A man and a woman who were both on parole while they engaged in public bouts of armed domestic violence against each other were back behind bars Friday, a North County sheriff's sergeant said.

Louis "Magoo" Alvarado, 24, and Angelina Bravo, 32, were arrested without the use of force shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday on the San Pasqual Indian Reservation, near Valley Center, according to San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. Bob Niderost.

Alvarado lives on the La Jolla Indian Reservation, while Bravo lives on the San Pasqual reservation. Their confrontations have taken place on their home Reservations, as well as the Pechanga Indian Reservation, just south of Temecula, and the Pala Indian Reservation, just north of Valley Center, Niderost said.

On the Fourth of July, Alvarado attempted to force an ambulance carrying Bravo off the road near Harrah's Rincon Casino, Niderost said.

During another incident in July, Bravo fired a firearm toward Alvarado on the La Jolla reservation, near neighboring residents, including children, he said, adding that no one was hurt.

The couple was booked into the Vista jail on suspicion of parole violations.
