2 Stabbed During Fight In Colina Del Sol

Fight Occurred At Garage In 4300 Block Of Altadena Avenue, Near El Cajon Boulevard

Two people were hospitalized with stab wounds and two were in custody early Sunday for their roles in a fight that broke out in the garage of a home in the Colina Del Sol neighborhood, San Diego police said.

Two men, aged 20 and 35, got into a fight with a 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman inside a garage at a home in the 4300 block of Altadena Avenue, near the intersection with El Cajon Boulevard at about 2:10 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford. Police did not say what caused the fight.

The later pair drew knives and allegedly stabbed the 20-year-old man in his back and the 35-year-old man in his torso and leg. Both sustained wounds that were not considered life-threatening and were taken to a hospital, Stafford said.

The 21-year-old man and 22-year-old woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, Stafford said. The woman was taken to a hospital to be treated for cuts to her hands before she was booked into jail, Stafford said.
