EL CAJON, Calif. - Officials on Saturday have identified two Jamaican men as persons of interest in connection with a June 25 homicide in an unincorporated area near El Cajon.
Latima Dover, 49, (pictured above) and another Jamaican man in his 50s known as "Slung" are wanted for questioning in the shooting death of Kevin McCalla, who died at the Pepper Creek apartment complex at 1475 Graves Ave. about 8:45 p.m. on the night of June 25, a sheriff's deputy said.
The men may be armed and dangerous, officials said.
Dover, a Jamaican citizen who also goes by the name "Latty," is black, 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 150 pounds with short hair and a distinct Jamaican accent, the deputy said.
The other man, known as "Slung," is about 50 years old with black dreadlock hair and a distinct Jamaican accent, the deputy said.
