2 San Diego elementary schools in Torrey Hills, Carmel Valley vandalized just hours apart

SAN DIEGO - San Diego police do not know yet if vandalism incidents at two elementary schools early Saturday are connected.

Police say broken windows were discovered at Ocean Air Elementary on Canter Heights Drive in Torrey Hills and at Sage Canyon Elementary in Carmel Valley.

Officers learned of the broken window in Torrey Hills just before 2 a.m. and and the Carmel Valley incident at about 5:15 a.m. At each location, they discovered at least one broken window.

There was no major loss at either school, according to police, who are trying to determine if anything was stolen.

Police do not have any descriptions of who may have committed the crimes and say no arrests have been made.
