SAN DIEGO - Two transients had their faces slashed by another man early Monday in Mission Valley, San Diego police said.
The assailant approached the first victim, a man in his 40s, in the 4700 block of Pacific Highway near Interstate 8 about 2:40 a.m., pulled a knife and cut the man under his eye, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.
He then headed toward another man in his 40s, got into an argument with him, pulled the knife again and slashed that man's chin, Stafford said.
The first victim did not seek treatment for his wound. The second was taken to a hospital, Stafford said.
Police described the suspect as a bald white man in black clothing
