Driver Faces Felony Evasion Charges

Two people are in custody after leading police in a car chase through Kensington late Sunday.

At about 10 p.m. police officers attempted to pull over a green Jeep Cherokee that did not have its headlights on. When officers flashed the sirens, the driver drove off.
Officers were able to surround the car after a brief chase. It's unclear why the driver tried to evade police. The car was not stolen and no illegal items were found in the car.
The driver will face felony evasion charges.
