Two women are in jail Friday accused of robbing an elderly woman in Lincoln Park.

The robbery occurred at an apartment complex in the 200 block of N. Euclid at about 9 p.m. Thursday.Witnesses told police the elderly woman was walking and the two younger women grabbed her purse.An ex-police officer who lives in the building saw the robbery and called police.Authorities caught up with the alleged robbers and were able to recover the purse.Copyright Do you have more information about this story?
