1 Hurt After Vehicle Crashes Into 2 Houses

SAN DIEGO -- A vehicle crashed into two houses in Paradise Hills Tuesday night, injuring only the driver of the car.The crash occurred at 8:40 p.m. in the 5800 block of Albemarle St., a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department dispatcher said.Witnesses said the woman driving the Ford Explorer suffered some kind of medical problem before losing control of her car, 10News reportedShe was taken to a hospital. Two children in the car with her were not hurt, the dispatcher said.Six people were outside the home when the crash occurred and were not hurt but all are now displaced. The Red Cross was arranging shelter for the family.City housing inspectors said the damage to one house was substantial and made it uninhabitable. The other house suffered damage only to a car and its garage.
