Crews Extinguish Clairemont Shed Fire

SAN DIEGO -- Fire destroyed a shed next to a house in Clairemont Tuesday morning but no one was hurt, a fire department dispatcher said.It took firefighters less than 20 minutes to contain the blaze, which was reported shortly after 5 a.m. in the 4200 block of Mount Hukee Ave., according to a San Diego fire-rescue dispatcher.Damage was estimated at $15,000 to the structure and about $1,000 to its contents, she said, adding there was no damage to the house.The cause of the fire was under investigation, according to the dispatcher, who said it appeared to be an accident.
