Rock Thrown Through Middle School Window

SPRING VALLEY, Calif. -- A rock was thrown through a window at a middle school in an apparent burglary, a San Diego sheriff's spokesman said Friday.A burglary at La Pressa Middle School at 1001 Leland St. was reported at 12:30 a.m., said Sgt. Greg Hampton.A witness reported seeing five people leave the school carrying computers, he said.
Responding deputies found a rock that had been thrown through a window, but they did not find any suspects, and a school official could not confirm any loss, Hampton said.
