Boy, 7, Rescued After Head Becomes Stuck In Storm Drain

LAKESIDE, Calif. -- A 7-year-old boy was rescued after his head became stuck in a Lakeside storm drain, 10News reported.According to authorities, Lakeside Fire Department crews and crews from El Cajon Fire & Rescue responded to reports of a boy stuck in a storm drain in the 10000 block of Big Cone Court in Lakeside.Crews used the Jaws of Life to break and open the drain structure, authorities said.
After about 40 minutes, the boy was freed from the drain and examined by paramedics.The boy was not injured and apparently tried to retrieve a toy that fell into the storm drain when he became stuck.
