CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Legoland California abruptly halted its plans to immortalize the late Michael Jackson in a scene that was scheduled to be installed at the park Thursday.Legoland officials said the park is no longer moving forward with the model of Michael Jackson in the "Miniland U.S.A." exhibit, due to "unresolved legal issues.""We were looking forward to installing a small tribute to Michael Jackson in Miniland," said Peter Ronchetti, general manager of Legoland California. "However, legal matters have come to light that prevent us from displaying the model in the park."Legoland had planned a scene featuring a four-inch-tall model of Jackson, complete with white glove and red leather jacket, exiting a limousine in front of the famed Grauman's Chinese Theatre.Jackson, 50, was pronounced dead last week at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, about two hours after he collapsed at his rented Holmby Hills estate.
